SD1toolkit

Work and tools for Texas Republicans in SD1. Every claim shows its source.

Everything you need, by the job you are doing

Shelved by task rather than by which agency published it, because nobody wakes up wanting a Secretary of State handbook. They want to know who appoints the poll workers.

PRACTICE

Why every link here is one of ours

Links point at sd1toolkit.org and then forward you on. When a publisher redesigns and a document moves, we change one line and every page, every slide, and every printed handout follows. Nothing printed goes dead.

PRACTICE

And why we do not host copies

A copy of the party rules is right the day it is posted and wrong within a year, because rule numbers move at every biennial convention. A stale copy misleads the exact reader who trusted us for being careful. A broken link is visible and fixable. That is the failure we want.

Start here, your first week

If you were appointed last month and nobody handed you anything, read these in this order.

County chair duties

A county chair is the filing authority for primary candidates and runs a great deal of the primary. Most of that is statutory and most of it sits in one handbook.
